Hello,
a bit about me:
My name is Marzieh Noori. I completed a Masters of Arts (Higher Education Leadership and Students Affairs) through Fulbright program at Western Michigan University. I also completed my undergraduate studies with a degree in Business Administration, Management at the American University in Afghanistan.
As a higher education and students affairs professional, I am genuinely passionate about student's learning and development. With all the lessons and the theories I learnt during Masters program, my professional higher education experiences and diversity and inclusion practices, I want to do all my best to make sure that students succeed in their academic life and are mentally well.
My research areas of interest includes higher education leadership, student identity and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion . I believe that students can reach their maximum potentials regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, military status, athlete status, ability status, culture differences, etc. This can be done when there is a proper system to make sure that the necessary resources are available to every student.
My passion and goal is to serve as a university professor in any areas related to diversity and inclusion, students affairs, or academic affairs. My ultimate goal is to pursue a PhD in Higher Education, and narrow my focus in the areas of Higher Education Leadership, Diversity and Inclusion, Students Development.
